Opt-In for Overdraft Protection

How you may be affected.   

You may have heard that due to a Federal Regulation there are going to be some changes to the way banks can handle your ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card transactions.

At First National Bank of Livingston, we provide overdraft services to cover ATM and everyday debit card transactions in the event your account may be a little short on funds – saving you embarrassment and the inconvenience of a declined transaction.

 We do authorize and pay overdrafts for checks and other transactions made using your checking account number as well as automatic bill payments made from your checking account.

On or after August 15, 2010, we will not authorize and pay overdrafts for ATM transactions or everyday debit card transactions unless you ask us to.

 This notification contains your Security ID, which is required to complete the
